- System Compatibility Notice: This uncoded F186000 head is designed specifically for Chinese eco-solvent printers and custom DTG/flatbed modifications. Do NOT use this head on Mutoh ValueJet or Mimaki JV33 / JV5 printers, as those machines require different driving voltages and specific encrypted head parameters.
- Flat Flexible Cable (FFC) Replacement: It is strongly advised to replace head ribbon cables whenever installing a new DX5 printhead. Corroded, bent, or ink-contaminated cable leads will short-circuit internal piezo driver transistors, resulting in immediate board fuse or printhead failure upon startup.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection: MicroPiezo actuators are static-sensitive. Installation technicians must use anti-static wrist grounding straps and ensure main system power and wall AC plugs are fully disconnected before handling internal wiring.
- Capping & Solvent Maintenance: Always replace or thoroughly service solvent wiper blades, cap top assemblies, and peristaltic pump tubes during head replacement to prevent head dry-out and verify proper vacuum suction.
