- Aqueous Chemistry Only: Engineered exclusively for water-based dye, aqueous pigment, and sublimation inks. Do not use eco-solvent, solvent, or UV inks, as non-aqueous solvents will instantly dissolve internal gaskets and destroy nozzle manifolds.
- Replace Head Cables: It is strongly recommended to install brand-new flat ribbon head cables along with a new printhead. Corroded, bent, or ink-contaminated ribbon ends will short-circuit both the printhead driver pins and the printer main board ICs.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Safety: MicroPiezo actuators are highly sensitive to static electricity. Technicians must wear grounded anti-static wrist straps during installation and verify the printer is completely unplugged before handling connections.
- Maintenance System Check: Inspect and clean or replace the capping station, wipers, and dampers to prevent vacuum seal failures or premature nozzle drying upon installation.
